The Göksun Kanlıkavak Village Houses Project was realized with a safe, durable, and user-focused settlement approach, aiming to contribute to rebuilding life after the earthquake.

Within the project developed in the Göksun district of Kahramanmaraş, Mavlu undertook the design and implementation of 47 out of the 347 planned village houses. The buildings were conceived with a simple, functional, and sustainable approach that responds to the needs of rural living.

The site planning prioritized open-space use that supports neighborhood relationships, everyday living habits, and user needs. While each residence was designed in accordance with safe building standards, rapid construction, technical coordination, and implementation quality remained among the key priorities throughout the process.

Completed within a total project area of 6,500 m², the development created a permanent housing model that contributes to the reconstruction of everyday life after the disaster.

The Göksun Kanlıkavak Village Houses Project reflects Mavlu’s approach to architecture not merely as the production of buildings, but as a field of responsibility that strengthens social resilience and helps rebuild the way people live.
